Astro Jam

Privacy policy

Last updated 8 August 2026

Astro Jam is made by SnailPixel. This policy explains what the game stores, why, and how to get rid of it. It is short because the game collects very little.

Playing without an account

You can play the whole game without signing in. Your progress - levels, stars, XP, achievements and statistics - is saved on your device. A random player code is generated on first launch so your scores can be told apart from other players'. That code is not linked to your name, email or phone.

What is sent to our server

We do not collect your contacts, photos, location, or the contents of your device.

If you sign in

Signing in is optional. It uses Firebase Authentication (Google or an email address and password) so your progress can follow you to another device. In that case Google processes your email address on our behalf. We never see or store your password. You can sign out at any time and keep playing as a guest, with your progress intact.

Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the game is played in aggregate - which levels are too hard, where people stop. These events describe gameplay only: a level number, a difficulty, whether a board was cleared. They never include your name, email, player code or any account identifier.

Advertising

The game shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may use device identifiers to limit how often you see the same ad and to measure performance. If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you are asked for consent before any ads load, and you can change that choice later from within the game. You can also reset your advertising identifier in your device settings at any time.

Notifications

Reminders are off unless you turn them on in Settings. They are generated on your device - nothing is sent to us to produce them - and you can switch them off in the same place.

Children

Astro Jam is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.

How long we keep it

Your progress and leaderboard entries are kept until you delete them. Deleting is immediate and permanent - see below.
